Laura has been facilitating classes in drama, singing and musical theatre for the last 16 years.

As a freelancer, she has worked with many companies, including Encore Performing Arts Academy (where she is currently based), Blue Eagle Productions, The Ulster Scots and KVC Creativity. 

Laura recently directed Nativity! The Musical for Encore PAA, and worked with Eglinton Primary School helping prepare them for their end-of-year show. 

She is about to start rehearsals directing Misterman by Enda Walsh, produced by her own theatre company Fair Play Productions. 

In September 2023, Laura went back to London to train as a director and practitioner of The Gonsalves Method, a technique that teaches you how to be present and guarantees increased authentic connection between you and your audience. This approach is not only for actors, and Laura is offering workshops to organisations on this.

Laura is particularly interested in developing new writing, either as a writer, director or in Rehearsal & Development with a Creative Team.
