Laura trained at Arts Educational Schools London, under the guidance of Aileen Gonsalves. In September 2023, she returned to London to train with Aileen again, this time as a teacher and facilitator of The Gonsalves Method. She is currently one of only two practitioners of the method based in Ireland. 

Although it was her desire to perform that took her to drama school, in recent years Laura has discovered her love for coaching other performers. She is currently a Lecturer in Acting on the BA(Hons) Musical Theatre degree at DkIT, and also runs her own workshops and classes as well as coaching one-to-one.

During her training at ArtsEd, Laura also rediscovered her love of writing. She is particularly interested in pursuing her writing more over the next year, and is currently working on a short film, a play and a fiction novel.
